In the eyes of a preschooler, nothing is impossible! They are creating new ideas every day as they began to expand their vocabulary.
At Horizons our teachers work to guide and spread children’s thinking through purposeful plays, meaningful questioning. Through our FunShine Online Buttercups® curricula program, children are having so much fun with their peers they are don’t realize they’re developing skills to prepare for their reading and math.
From their A-B-C and 1-2-3 your child will begin to learn the skills it takes to connect letters, sounds, and numbers. Our curriculum works to expand their reading and math skills as well as their critical thinking skills, early physical fitness, and nutrition.
Weekly activity plans are designed to promote literacy, emotional/social skills, pre-math readiness, writing, nature & discovery exploration, music & movement, and gross motor. These skills are introduced through one-on-one activities, small group and large group times. Horizons teachers value the importance of always encouraging a child's natural curiosity and willingness to try new things, so children can discover the ways that they learn best.
Daily reports are completed giving parents an inside look to their child's day at school.
